PERSONALITY Only Dean or Tear is allowed to call her Arty. She likes to think she's dignified--she's got Sam's love for knowledge, and attention to detail. In fact, she's more observant than he is, since she's small and has to hitch a ride on his shirt more often than not. Bat hearing also helps.
While Sam usually lets his temper get the better of him, Artemis is the cautious one, though she doesn't talk very much except to the people close to him.
After Hell, she's covered in scars and can no longer fly, and is mute for a while, though she gains her voice back slowly. She speaks in short sentences or fragments, and is far more sensitive to emotional exchanges. She is the vulnerable part of Sam, literally and figuratively, so she hides in his shirt pocket most of the time. She'll start shaking uncontrollably when he gets upset. She also shares his hallucinations.
SPECIAL NOTES She and Diethelm get along even when Sam and Dean are fighting because they cut through the bullshit a lot faster and get over it. They were also the parts of the brothers most deeply affected by Hell, so empathy keeps them close to one another.
